Best Used Car Commercial Ever
Buying a used car is always a gamble. Unless you’re a seasoned auto mechanic, you don’t really know what you’re getting yourself into. Buying a used car on eBay seems like an even riskier proposition. But something about this particular car commercial makes me think it might be okay to take a chance just this once.
Max, the guy responsible for the viral ad, is trying to help his girlfriend sell her 1996 Honda Accord on eBay. Bidding began at $499. It shot up pretty quickly for a car with 141,095 miles. I think it’s because Max’s commercial really speaks to people.
At one point, bidding reached $150,000 but eBay’s Fraud Department became suspicious and took it down. They didn’t know about the commercial. Once eBay was convinced that the auction was legitimate, the Honda Accord was re-posted. No matter what happens with the car, Max should probably get a few job offers from advertising agencies.
