Ozzy And Elton Together On A New Tune And It’s Good
I am a huge rock-n-roll fan and Ozzy Osbourne is one of my favorites! I’ve seen him 11 times live. And of course, Elton John is a classic! Both men are British, but for some reason I just couldn’t hear a musical collaboration between the two. In my mind it wasn’t going to sound right.
Well, I was wrong! The song is called “Ordinary Man” and it’s the title track of Ozzy’s upcoming album. The lyrics of the song are about the struggles that Ozzy has gone through in his life. The lyrics are so honest that when Ozzy’s wife Sharon Osbourne hears the song, she cries. Elton is featured in the song, and sings the second verse. The song also features Slash and Duff from Guns-N-Roses and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Truth told, I really should have expected the song to be great. Not just because it’s Elton John and Ozzy Osbourne, two artists that have had amazing careers. Both men have gone through some tough times. Both have suffered losses, and bot h men have struggled with addiction. Both Elton John and Ozzy Osbourne have stated that they wouldn’t be alive if it weren’t for music.
I know many people only think of Ozzy Osbourne as a hard core crazy rocker, but he does have a softer side. Check out the tune and see what you thing.
