Britney Spears Posted A Rare Photo With Teenage Sons
Britney Spears rarely posts photos of her sons to Instagram. But on Monday, she posted a picture with 15-year-old Sean Preston and 14-year-old Jayden James, and explained why they don’t show up in her feed very often.
“I haven’t posted pictures of them for some time cause they’re at the age where they want to express their own identities and I totally get it …. But I went out of my way to make this cool edit and guess what …. They’re finally letting me post it !!! Now I don’t feel left out anymore”
She also said, “It’s so crazy how time flies …. My boys are so big now !!!! I know … I know … it’s very hard for any mama especially a mama with boys seeing them grow up so fast !!!! Talk about enough to make you go to your knees … GEEZ !!!! I’m extremely lucky because my two babies are such gentleman and so kind that I must have done something right !!!!”
26-year-old boyfriend Sam Asghari, commented on the Instagram photo, “Lioness with her Cubs.” The couple have been dating since 2016, meeting on the set of Spears’ “Slumber Party” music video.
39-year-old Spears shares the children with ex-husband, 42-year-old Kevin Federline, who she divorced after three years of marriage in 2007. In September 2019, Spears and Federline adjusted their custody agreement from 50-50 to 70-30, in favor of Federline. Spears was granted unsupervised custodial rights.
What triggered the custody agreement at that time was an alleged incident where Brittany’s father, Jamie Spears, got into a physical altercation with Sean Preston. The boys were granted a restraining order, which prevents their grandfather from being able to see them, Yahoo! Entertainment reports.
According to Page Six, Spears was “emotional” after watching the Framing Britney Spears documentary and “finally feels like there is light at the end of a very long, dark tunnel.” She is “hopeful she will finally be freed from the vice-like grip of her father.”
The outlet reports that the “Baby One More Time” singer is “quietly working on her own documentary about her life — said in her own words — with a top female filmmaker.”
The next hearing in her conservatorship case is March 17.
