Women Find Out They’re Sisters While Working Together
Biological sisters, while working at the same place, found out that they were sisters and OMG! This story is just wild.
Cassandra Madison and Julia Tinetti were working at the Russian Lady, a restaurant in New Haven Connecticut. Cassandra noticed Julia’s Dominican Republic tattoo on her left arm. Julia has the same one on her back. Julia and Cassandra discussed how they were both from the Dominican Republic. The two then talked about how they were both adopted and bonded. Both girls were raised by single moms in the United States. They both thought they just had a lot in common, but there’s more to the story.
Many customers would say the ladies looked alike. Cassie decided to do some investigating. She finally asked her biological father about giving up another child. He admitted he gave up a little girl. A long car ride and a DNA tube later that’s all it took.
Two weeks later the girls shared the news on TikTok, they were long lost sisters. When Cassandra started the search for her birth family two years ago, she and Julia found out they had seven other siblings. Out of nine children, Julia and Cassandra were the only two adopted. What are the odds of these two finding each other? How crazy!
This story reminds me of my mom’s upbringing. My mom and her younger sister were placed up for adoption. There were older sisters and brothers but apparently my biological grandmother couldn’t raise all of her children. When I was about 20 years old, my mom found her other biological sisters. She found all five sisters, and a half brother. It was a trip to meet them as I didn’t grow up around them. They all looked so much like my mom!
Things happen for a reason!
