Female College Student Gets Back At Guys Harassing Her
If you’re my age or younger, there’s a very good chance that you’ve been on the receiving end of an unwanted picture from a guy. I’ve had men send “naughty” pics via Facebook, Instagram, email….it’s crazy! A college student found a way to get back at some boys harassing her and I think it’s brilliant!
The 18 year-old posted her dilemma on Reddit, and people have mixed feelings about what she did. According to SheKnows, the girl was getting bullied and harassed by three guys in her class. The guys began messaging her online with rather gross/harassing messages and NSFW pictures. She reported their behavior to school officials, and they got off with a warning.
When the boys knew nothing serious would happen to them, they escalated the harassment. The young lady had enough and decided to get back at the guys. She took screen shots of the nasty messages the boys sent, and forwarded them to all of their mother’s. She found all of their mom’s on Facebook, and sent the pictures through messenger. All of the boy’s mothers found their kids behavior shocking and horrifying.
Some of the young lady’s friends think what she did is genius, but others think she went to far. I love what she did! If the school wasn’t going to do anything and ignoring the guys didn’t help, a stern word from mom might do the trick. No one has to put up with that nonsense!
Folks on Reddit also mentioned to the young lady that this behavior is actually cyberstalking, and that she could get the police involved. Other folks advised she complain to the school every time she received a message, and that eventually the school would tire of her reports and take some action.
I think what she did was perfect!! It’s all fun and games until an angry mom gets involved! THEN there’s serious trouble. I think the mom’s will have more of an impact on the boy’s behavior than the school. These dudes are lucky she didn’t get really mean and post all their pictures to her social media sites! No one has to put up with harassing behavior. Period! Kudos to this young lady for taking action.
