This ‘Eyeball Pop’ Record Holder Is Just Weird
I’m not going to lie, when I saw a picture of this guy, I freaked out! He looks like an old cartoon from The Simpsons. A man in Brazil is now the world record holder for the farthest eyeball pop, according to Lad Bible.
Now, I want you to know that I checked before deciding this guy is a freak! He’s not ill and has never had an illness that causes his eyes to poop out like this. Sidney de Carvalho Mesquita is the man’s name, and he’s been certified as the holder of the world record for the farthest eyeball pop. He can make his eyeballs pop 0.71 inches out of their sockets.
0.71 inches doesn’t really explain what his eyes look like. You gotta see the picture! Apparently, he’s been able to do this since he was a child. His parents took him to a doctor, but the doc said he wasn’t sick and there was nothing wrong. Mesquita just has this skill, for lack of a better word.
And this skill actually has a scientific name, which is ‘globe luxation.’ It’s the ability to pop your eyes out of their sockets. Who knew?!
