Guy Gets Calvin Klein Inspired Tattoo That’s Really Bad, It Goes Viral
Tattoos are a lot like relationships: beauty is in the eye of the beholder. They’re usually personal, and most often have some serious meaning to the person getting them. That said, I don’t get this one at all. Someone on Reddit that goes by the name double22deuce, is getting lots of attention for sharing a picture of their latest tattoo.
According to MSN and India Times, the man appears to be wearing some Calvin Klein boxer briefs sticking out of his jeans. However, they aren’t an actual pair of undies, it’s a tattoo. And a bad one in my opinion. When posting the picture on Reddit, the person wrote, ‘Nothing comes between me and my Calvins.’
Now, if you grew up in the 80’s or were around then, you’re familiar with that statement. Actress Brooke Shields, at the age of 15, was in a Calvin Klein ad for the fashion designer’s jeans in 1980. She’s wearing a tight pair of Calvin Klein jeans. The tag line in the commercial was, “You want to know what comes in between me and my Calvins? Nothing.’ As a 10/11-year-old when the ad was running on television, I wanted to BE Brooke Sheilds. We all did! LOL!
Obviously, the age of the person who got the Calvin Klein undies tattoo is a mystery, but I’m guessing he was around in the 80’s. No matter how old double22deuce is, the tattoo is bad. Looking at the tattoo, you know it’s supposed to be a pair of Calvin Klein boxer briefs, but in all honesty, it just looks like a hairy butt. That’s the nicest way I can describe it. People commenting on Reddit aren’t a fan either. Of course, all that matter is the person that got it likes it. Luckily for the public, this person will most likely be wearing a shirt when they’re out and about, so the tattoo won’t be seen lots.
It’s been seven years since I’ve gotten a new tattoo, and this Saturday I’m getting one on my left arm. I’m excited! A shop in Charlotte, Haylo Healing Arts Lounge, will be doing my new tattoo. The shop got my attention on Instagram after I went through breast cancer. They do a lot to help women who have gone through mastectomies. Very cool!
My new tattoo is an ode to two parts of my personality, as well as to of my childhood loves. I’ll be sharing photos once the tattoo is complete. Everyone won’t like it, which is ok! But I can promise you it’ll look way better than the underpants tattoo.
