Target Will Let You Add Starbucks To Drive-Up Orders Soon, Making Life Even Easier
Despite all the bad things the pandemic brought to us, there are a few things that occurred that have made life easier. Online shopping at grocery stores and retail stores and rolling up to pick up your groceries other items is making life easier for lots of us. Just last night I ordered groceries online at Aldi, and I’m picking them up in a bit. It’s definitely a time saver, and for busy parents it’s amazing! Now Target is letting you get yourself a treat from Starbucks when picking up your goodies from the retail store.
Many of us, when shopping inside a Target store, end up buying way more than we originally planned to. I’ll roll in with a list and very rarely to I leave with just the things on the list. In addition to spending more when shopping inside the store, lots of us also make a stop by the Starbucks inside Target. According to Food & Wine, Target is testing their ‘Drive Up with Starbucks’ program in 24 states and plans on rolling the program out to all of their 17-hundred stores with in-store Starbucks by October.
Here’s how it works:
- You place your order on the Target app.
- A notification will tell you your order is ready.
- You’ll get a prompt to add any Starbucks food or drinks.
- An employee will bring your items directly to your car, including your Starbucks order.
This is perfect for those of us that are on a time crunch and/or have kids in the car. It’s also great for people like me who may not feel like getting out of their lounging clothes to get a coffee and other items. Using the Target app can help you save money too! Using the app to order items takes the ‘impulse buying’ away. If you’re like me and have very little self-control, you’ll leave the store with items you didn’t plan on buying. Happens every time!
Once the weather gets chilly, this is also going to be a game changer! You can get all your items and get a hot drink without leaving your car and getting cold. Score!
