South Carolina City One of the Best Places to Live for Weather in the U.S.
There are quite a few cities across the U.S. that are really known for their weather. People move around and pick places to live based on the weather. Sometimes you want only warm weather and hate winter and move to Florida. Some people enjoy all seasons and want some sort of snow and go further up North. Those people are not ones I can understand, but things do differ between people.
Here in the Carolinas, we’re known for having some great options for weather and scenery depending on where you want to live. You can be in the mountains, live on the beach, live in the city, in the country, and any and everywhere in between. But, there are some areas that are known to give you the best of both worlds.
Charleston, South Carolina
U.S. News released its list of the best places to live in the U.S. for the weather. Of course, the Carolinas made the list. A few South Carolina cities are on the list but one city in particular made the top 10. Charleston, South Carolina of course makes yet another list.
Charleston is known for a lot of things, its beauty, history, food, and so much more. But, one thing people don’t often talk about is the weather. As a Charleston native, it does get quite hot and humid during the summer but the heat isn’t as scorching as in other spots and the winter isn’t as freezing as some areas. You are on the beach, so hurricane season may be a thing you have to worry about but if you are one who prefers cooler and warm weather, then Charleston is definitely somewhere you should look into.
The two other South Carolina cities that made the list include Myrtle Beach and Spartanburg. Both are some other great options with different styles of living. Check out the full report here.
