The Most Outrageous Expense Report Submissions CFO’s Received
Some people are using their expense account to their advantage, but the items that CFO’s have revealed are…odd to say the least. The CFO’s probably didn’t get a laugh out of some of these…but we did!
Now, you would think people would be a bit more realistic with what they submit for their expense report, but not everyone gets the memo. These items obviously have nothing to do with these people’s jobs, but they sure tried.
Here are some of the strange expense report submissions CFO’s have received…
- Bear Rug
- Pogo stick
- Moving a horse trailer
- Kids’ clothing
- Cat litter
- Toys
- Chandeliers
- Tractor
- Tree
- Plunger
- Bed bug removal
- Chicken statue with a top hat
- Yacht
- Pearls
- Motorcycle
I’m not even sure why a bear rug was a must, but I’m sure it’s someone’s dream to have one. Though, involving your expense report wasn’t the best idea. I don’t even remember the last time I saw a pogo stick…do they even make those anymore?
I have so many questions regarding the chicken statue with a top hat.
How did these people explain any of these items? Like, why they needed them and what they needed them for? Was the statue a lawn decoration? The items are one thing, but the discussion between the CFOs and the employees must be something else entirely.
