103 Year Old Woman Gets Her First Tattoo And I Love Her
A Michigan woman celebrated her 103rd birthday by being sprung from lockdown at a nursing home and getting her first tattoo.
Dorothy Pollack celebrated her 103rd birthday in COVID-19 lockdown at a Michigan nursing home June 16, and her family said they soon realized they needed to get her back out into the world. Like many people, she was becoming depressed not seeing her family.
Last Friday Pollack took a trip out and did something memorable. She got her first tattoo: a small frog on her arm. Ray Reasoner Jr. of A.W.O.L. Custom Tattooing in Muskegon said Pollack is the oldest person he has ever tattooed. Apparently, she took her first tattoo like a champ and barely winced at all. Nice!
If you’re wondering why Pollack went with a frog, it’s because that’s the only thing she likes as much as beer and burgers. Seriously, I think I may be related to this woman. She is SO my hero of the week!
Pollack didn’t stop with a tattoo. She fulfilled with another personal first: taking a motorcycle ride.That’s right…she took a ride on a Harley after getting a tattoo. Love it! She said she and her family are now planning further adventures.
