This North Carolina City Named One of the Worst for Bachelorette Parties

Looking to host, attend, or be the bride of a bachelorette party this year? If so, then finding the perfect destination for you and your bride tribe can be very important. Have you ever wondered where you should go for your bachelorette party? Of course, some of the most popular include the typical places like Las Vegas, Miami, New York City, or a Caribbean island.

Lawn Love did a study to determine the best (and the worst) cities to celebrate a bachelorette in the states. They compared 200 of the biggest U.S. cities on 21 key metrics to determine the rankings. Things such as attractions, cost, safety, transportation, nightlife, food, and more were taken into consideration. You know, some of the key components of a good bachelorette party. Well, unfortunately, one North Carolina city did not get the best votes and found there way toward the bottom of the list. Out of the 200 cities, this North Carolina city ranks No. 198. Now, that is pretty low. Can you guess? Fayetteville, North Carolina is the No. 198 bachelorette destination in the country. Clearly, one of the places they don’t recommend you to celebrate your bachelorette weekend. Now, Fayetteville is far from a bad place to visit for a cute, fun, simple kind of weekend but regarding a bachelorette weekend, not so much. The area did not score high in having tons of things for your crew to do in nightlife and entertainment. Which, if you have ever been to Fayetteville then you probably understand.

    Of course, Charlotte made this list! Why wouldn’t it, right? This is one of the largest cities in the state and offers so much fast-paced fun for you to enjoy together. Great craft beers, water activities, nightclubs, restaurants, and more! You can even catch a sports game with the guys and see some football, basketball, hockey, or baseball. Your options are endless indeed.

  • Raleigh

    If you are wondering where to go to Raleigh, North Carolina might be a great idea as well. Raleigh is a little unexpected. You can enjoy parks, breweries, strip clubs, bars, golf courses, and so much more! Yes, there are a lot of colleges in the area so if you’re young as well it might be more fun.

  • Asheville

    Asheville is one of the best locations for all of the beer drinkers. They have famous brewery tours that you can drink and have a great time with the crew. Plus there are some funky bars that can make the night a little bit more interesting. During the colder months may be a bit more snowy so you may want to head down during the summer months.

  • Cherokee

    Here is one location I have never been, but here it is on the list. Cherokee is about an hour from Asheville is your getaway into the mountains. You can enjoy mountain views and casino fun when in Cherokee. Fun fact, there are not any strip clubs but you can order strip clubs to your house rental if you wanted.

  • Outer Banks

    Want to celebrate on the beach? Head to the Outer Banks! Enjoy the beach and great seafood for a bachelor trip, perfect for the summer. I have been here in the winter and it is still beautiful but not everything is open so maybe you should head there in the summer. There are tons of restaurants, bars, hotels, and more.

  • Wilmington

    Head off to the coastal city of Wilmington and hang out with the boys. There is a boardwalk that is the top party spot for you to enjoy. Maybe you want to go fishing, lay out on the beach, eat great food, and take history tours there is a little bit of something for everyone.
