The rain is supposed to clear up soon so what better time for a pre-Memorial Day beach trip? And if you’re headed that way make sure to add a stop at the Little River Blue Crab Festival to your to-do list. The festival takes place on the historic Little River Waterfront in Little River, SC. Which is not far from the North Myrtle Beach/Cherry Grove area of South Carolina or the Calabash area of North Carolina.

The Little River Blue Crab Festival is a multiple-time winner of the Best Annual Event/Festival on the Grand Strand. It takes place this Saturday and Sunday, May 14th and 15th. Visitors can enjoy fresh, local seafood waterfront restaurants or sample your favorite festival foods. You’ll also want to take in the scenic views, enjoy live beach music, and shop for a unique souvenir or gift from a crafter.

Tickets are just $5 per person and the festival runs from 9 am-5 pm on both days. Continue reading for the entertainment schedule. Get full details on everything surrounding the festival here.
