North Carolina Pickle Fest Is Happening In April And I’m So There
Now, THIS is a big dill! Sorry…I had to do it! If you are a big fan of pickles like I am, then now’s the time to start planning your road trip to Mt. Olive, North Carolina in April. April 24 & 25 is when North Carolina Pickle Fest 2020 will take place and it looks like a blast!
The North Carolina Pickle Fest is a big bash that happens to celebrate pickles and pickle-flavored goodies. Mt. Olive is one of the biggest pickle companies in the country, so it makes sense to hold this festival there. Thousands of people hit the festival every year to enjoy pickle everything.
The festival also has carnival games and rides, a 5k run, car show, chili cook-off, live music from local musicians, and more. Food-wise, you gotta be a fan of the pickle for this event. Some of the pickle-flavored treats are peanuts, popcorn, snow cones, and even donuts! After seeing the picture of the donuts, I’m not really sure about them but I DID make pickle cupcakes two years ago for Phil and me to try, so I’m up for the challenge.
Tickets for the two-day festival aren’t on sale yet, but you can keep up with the festival details on their Instagram page and their website. Now, I just gotta find a few friends that are crazy pickle fans to make this road trip with me. This looks awesome!
