Disney Is Releasing A ‘Mandalorian’ Documentary Series Beginning On Star Wars Day
Star Wars fans have some good news to look forward to as Disney+ has announced that a Mandalorian documentary is on the way. The brand went to social media, writing, “Pull back the curtain on #TheMandalorian. Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, an eight-episode documentary series, starts streaming on May the 4th, only on #DisneyPlus.” May 4 has long been known as Star Wars Day (“may the fourth be with you”). Episodes will drop every Friday following the premiere.

“Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian is an opportunity for fans of the show to take a look inside and get to see a different perspective, and perhaps a greater understanding, of how The Mandalorian came together and some of the incredibly talented contributors throughout Season One,” said executive producer Jon Favreau. “We had a great experience making the show and we’re looking forward to sharing it with you.”
Each chapter explores a different facet of the first live-action Star Wars television show through interviews, never-before-seen footage, and roundtable conversations hosted by Favreau himself.
Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian will release a new episode every Friday, beginning May 4.
