Woman Gets A Funny Apology Gift From Husband’s Mistress
I’ve heard lots of cheating husband stories, heck I LIVED one, but I’ve never heard of this! A woman recently shared pictures online of the gift she received from her husband’s mistress.
Elizabeth Lindsay from Scotland shared the pictures on TikTok. She explained that her husband lied to both women, and the gal who was the mistress had no clue that the man was married when they were together. After he was busted by the ladies, the two developed a friendship. The mistress decided to send Lindsay a box of cookies with some funny messages on them.
“It’s the anniversary of me leaving my husband,” Lindsay explained, “so the lady – who was having an affair with him didn’t know his real name and was being quite badly abused by him – gave me a present.” Among the cookies was one that read “Sorry for sha**ing your husband,” while another read “sisters before vertically challenged misters,” and one was of a phone with the message “you’re so shady.” HA! Nice!
I love this! Obviously both women were being taken advantage of and it’s awesome that they became friends. Having dealt with a husband that was a “serial cheater” I know it’s hard to go through. Especially when you are blindsided. Nothing takes away the hurt, the anger, or the embarrassment, but a cookie helps! Hell, if one of my ex’s mistresses would have sent me some customized cookies, it would have helped a little! LOL! You KNOW I joke!
