110-Year-Old Woman Has Sweet Secret To Long Life
A Portsmouth, Ohio woman celebrated a huge birthday this week. Alma Kahl turned 110 on July 6th. Family and friends gathered at the Hill View Retirement Center to celebrate with her.
A local TV station was also there to find out Alma’s secret to living a long life. Ms. Kahl told WOWK-TV that Hershey’s Kisses have played a major role in her longevity, saying if she hadn’t had them, she never would have made it.
Turning 110 isn’t Alma’s only big accomplishment. Born in Montgomery, West Virginia, Kahl was also a former Miss West Virginia University Beauty Queen, traveled all over the world, and even met the Queen of England. With her ringing endorsement of those little chocolate Kisses, it seems like a key to the city of Hershey, Pennsylvania should come next.
