50 Best Fall Soup Recipes For Fall
I am beyond ready for fall. Summer used to be my favorite season. I loved going to the pool, the beach, and soaking up the sun. As I’ve gotten older, summer isn’t as much fun for me. The sun doesn’t like me as much as it did when I was younger. Health issues and “the change” make me long for cooler weather. I think going through radiation has made me shy away from the sun and the heat as well. I’m ready for sweater weather and comfort food.
Soup is one of the foods I love to make! Its comfort food and soup can be so versatile. Chicken noodle soup is one of my all-time fav foods. I make a chicken orzo soup in the fall that I’ll eat for days. SO good! And you don’t feel like your eating poorly since there are lots of veggies in the soup. Each year I share soup recipes. I’m always up for cooking something new, and I love finding yummy soups.
Woman’s Day has “50 Best Fall Soup Recipes” and they look awesome! Although it’s odd, as a kid I loved Campbell’s Beef and Barley Soup. Weird, I know! One of the soups the site shared is “Beef and Barley” soup. It’s a hearty soup, but so yummy. I’ve never made it myself though so this one is on my “to do” list.
The recipe for Butternut Squash Soup with Rosemary & Bacon is for sure one I’ll be whipping up this fall. Butternut Squash soup is usually a bit sweet, so the rosemary and bacon will compliment it perfectly! Pair it with a nice piece of crusty bread and you have a rockin’ meal! I’m hungry just thinking about it.
Panera has a Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice soup that I cannot get enough of. I found a recipe on Pinterest and it’s good! This recipe is very similar. Such a great soup when the weather gets cooler.
Just reading all these recipes is making me hungry for soup. Come on Fall! If you have any awesome soup recipes, please feel free to share. I’m always up for trying new soups. Soup and bread…I could eat it all the time!
