Bojangles Raising Money For The Muscular Dystrophy Association
Bojangles is launching a charitable campaign to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). The campaign begins Monday, October 4th and runs through Sunday, October 31st at more than 760 locations across 14 states. After each purchase guests will have the opportunity to “Round up for Research” or make a donation to raise critical funds for research and services for kids and adults living with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related neuromuscular diseases in MDA Care Centers and MDA Summer Camps.
“The Bojangles team has an unrelenting passion for the MDA’s life-changing work, and we are thankful that our customers share our enthusiasm,” said Ken Reynolds, Corporate Community Affairs Director for Bojangles in a press release. “We look forward to another successful fundraiser to ensure continued research efforts can be made for local families across the Southeast.”
The “MDA Round Up for Research” campaign proceeds from Bojangles will support MDA’s innovative research and care. This also includes a week-long summer camp experience for children living with neuromuscular disease. The MDA Summer Camp features traditional camp activities like arts and crafts, fishing, horseback riding, and swimming in a setting specifically designed for children who have limited mobility.
This is not a new partnership. In 2020, Bojangles was able to raise more than $786,000 for the foundation. Over the MDA’s 22-year partnership with Bojangles, employees, customers, and various donors have contributed more than $9.4 million toward life-changing research and summer camp experiences.
Make sure to get some Bojangles next month and consider donating to support Muscular Dystrophy Assocation.
