Hellman’s Mayo Tells People To Add Mayo To Coffee
I read this headline out loud and Phil says we have to try it, so expect a “Nosh or Nasty” video soon. Mayo in coffee. Yup.
Hellman’s has gone viral for suggesting people try putting their mayo in coffee. They recently tweeted, “Mayo in your coffee. That’s it, that’s the tweet.” They then followed that up with, “Nope, that wasn’t a typo. Mayo in your coffee. It’s called having a sophisticated pallet.”
Now, I’m not sure how sophisticated my pallet is but I’m having a hard time thinking of the mayo & coffee combo. I used Hellman’s this weekend for some potato salad so mixing it in my coffee doesn’t seem tasty.
While most of the internet seemed to be vehemently against putting mayo in their coffee, some claim it is a part of their morning ritual. Say what? Some folks were so upset, they quit following the brand on Twitter.
