Where To See The Best Christmas Lights In The Charlotte Area
I live close to McAdenville, NC which is Christmas Town USA. Growing up in Gastonia, I’ve gone through the Christmas lights many times. People love it! I always loved looking at Christmas lights because I grew up Jewish, so we didn’t have them.
If you and your family love to drive around and look at Christmas lights, The Charlotte Observer has locations in our area that have the best displays. Obviously, McAdenville made the list! Also in Gaston County, Festival Of Trees happens in Belmont. It begins November 29 and goes through January 3. You can see festive trees as you go through downtown Belmont and in Stowe Park.
Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden’s Holiday At The Garden is always gorgeous. It’s an outdoor event where you can walk through the gardens and see all the twinkling lights. There’s also food trucks, marshmallow roasting stations, and more.
If you’d like to take a little drive to Troutman, you can see the Zootastic Park Christmas Wonderland of Lights. It’s a drive-thru holiday event with over 4 million lights. You can hop out of the car for yummy treats, pics with Santa and a baby kangaroo. How cool!
Find out more places to see and get info on all the locations with awesome Christmas lights here. Have fun!
Holidays at the Garden starts this Friday, November 26th! A huge thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who have helped us prepare for this cherished annual holiday event.
