Giant One-Year Old Weighs 36 Pounds & Wears Adult Diapers
I saw this story over the weekend and before I read it, I saw the picture of the baby and thought, “What a cute kid.” Of course, when I looked at the picture I thought it was a three or four year-old kid. I was wrong! A mom has posted a video of her huge child and the video has gone viral.
Baby Sonny is adorable but way more than a handful! According to the New York Post, the one year-old weighs 36 pounds and is wearing adult diapers because baby ones are too small for him. Jayde Leeder explains in the viral video that doctors thought she had gestational diabetes when she was pregnant. After testing her for it four times, they didn’t find any evidence of the condition.
Last December, Leeder gave birth to Sonny and he weighed over nine pounds. A year later, Leeder says she isn’t shocked that he’s now so big. She says his dad is a “big solid Russian man” and that Sonny takes after his dad.
Baby Sonny is learning to crawl and stand up, and his mom says he has physical therapy regularly for stiff joints due to his size. This kid looks like he could eat a steak and then drive home after physical therapy! He’s a big boy! But he’s healthy and happy so that is what matters. His mom must have some serious arm muscles carrying this fella!
