Bob & Sheri Celebrate One Year With K 104.7!
Happy Birthday to Bob & Sheri! It’s been a year since Bob & Sheri brought their nationally syndicated morning show to K 104.7 and we could not be happier. The Charlotte Observer did a great story highlighting the first year of the show with us and the transition.
Theoden Janes, with the Charlotte Observer, asked Bob Lacey and Sheri Lynch about their transition to K 104.7 and what the experience has been like. The positive impact they have had within the last year on the community has truly been on display.
Bob and Sheri went on air for the first time together back in February 1992. Over the next 25 years, they have been able to build a large fan base of devoted listeners. They debuted for the first time on K 104.7 on May 17, 2021, and have been killing it ever since. Due to the pandemic, they have been broadcasting from their homes in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Hilton Head, South Carolina. Their show continues to reach over 70 stations across the US with an audience growing daily.
The Charlotte Observer also discusses their careers and achievements within the radio industry. On April 9, Bob was inducted into legendary Charlotte radio station WBT’s Hall of Fame. Sheri is featured in the “Most Influential Women in Radio” issue of Radio Ink magazine.
Over the years, they have been able to experience a lot together and grow their brand and audience. With Bob currently in South Carolina, they still do not seem themselves stopping anytime soon. We are excited to see what the next year brings us with Bob & Sheri and we thank them for the last year here!
