Husband Posts Ad To Find Wife A Club Friend
I guess this is a way to meet new people! A man in New York is looking for a gay man to go out with his wife to events. The unnamed man is tired of hitting the clubs on the weekends. He decided to place an ad on Craigslist to find his wife a buddy.
According to Today, a popular nightlife producer in New York, Terence Edgerson, shared a screenshot of the ad to Instagram. In the ad the man says he’s exhausted. He loves his wife but can’t keep up with her. She wants to go out constantly. He wants a gay man to befriend his wife so that she doesn’t have to go out alone. She really enjoys Brooklyn electronic music events, and the husband would feel better if someone was with her late at night.
The ad says that the man’s wife is 30. The ideal candidate for her ‘friend’ would be someone who likes to party and is in their late 20’s to early 30’s. The ‘friend’ will make $30 an hour and the husband will be paying the price of admission to all the events they go to. No word on if the husband will also pay for drinks, but I’m guessing the right applicant could persuade him to do so. I mean, if he’s that tired, he’ll give in!
So far, the ad is getting lots of attention and applicants. Not a bad gig!
