Starbucks Announces New Winter Menu Items
The holidays are over but the yummy treats are still here! Starbucks has announced their new winter menu to kick off 2023. There are new items on the menu and some loved favorites that are back.
According to the Starbucks website, The Pistachio Latte is back! It’s a fan favorite. I’ve never heard of this one nor have I tried it, but I’m interested. It’s made with espresso, milk and a sweet pistachio flavor with a salted brown butter topping. You can get it hot or cold. I like pistachios but I’ve never had them in a sweet dish or drink. I gotta try this one.
With pistachio being a favorite flavor, Starbucks has a new cold brew. The Pistachio Cream Cold Brew is debuting this year. It’s only available for a limited time. It’s a vanilla syrup-sweetened cold brew, and it’s topped with a pistachio cream cold foam and salted brown butter sprinkles. Sounds like a milkshake!
There are three special whole bean coffees on the menu for 2023. Starbucks Tribute Blend, which features notes of black cherry and baking spices. This sounds perfect to me! When I make coffee at home, I had cinnamon to the grounds before brewing. I love it! If you’ve never tried it, give it a shot.
The other two whole bean coffees are also only available for a limited time. The Starbucks Reserve Guatemala Lake Atitlan and the Starbucks Reserve Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Cheleleku are at select stores. I believe these are too fancy for me. If I can’t pronounce the name of the coffee, I probably don’t need to be drinking it. LOL!
If you’re a sweets person, Starbucks seasonal Red Velvet Loaf is back. It’s a swirled vanilla and red velvet cake topped with chocolate icing. Take my money! This sounds delightful!
