New TLC Show ‘MILF Manor’ Is So Outrageous Viewers Thought It Was Fake
When Phil and I watched a clip of the new TLC show, “MILF Manor,” we honestly thought it was fake. There was a fake show called “MILF Island” on the show “30 Rock” and we thought it was a nod to that. Nope. This is a real show!
The new reality show, according to Yahoo, is billed as “8 hot moms…8 younger men…1 shocking twist.” And that twist is HUGE!! The younger men on the show are the sons of the moms on the show. You read that right! The group of mothers will choose a fellow contestant’s child to date!
The MILFs had no clue the younger men were their sons. The sons were equally shocked to see their moms as the MILFs on the dating show. The moms ages range from 40 to 60. The youngest son on the show is 20.
This odd reality show debuted January 15th on TLC. As a screen was lifted in the first episode to reveal that the mothers and sons were waiting to meet each other, viewers couldn’t quite believe that this was the actual premise of the show.
Here’s one of the first challenges on the show: the moms are blindfolded and they feel the shirtless men to pick out their own sons. The winner gets the best bedroom in the house. UGH! Creepy and weird!
Viewers are stunned by the show and the comments from folks on Twitter are too funny! Here are just two: “MILF MANOR IS THE DARKEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN ON TELEVISION OH MY EFFING GOD” and “Milf Manor is the worst show I have ever seen. I will be watching every episode.”
My favorite comment on Twitter is: “MILF Manor being the single most demented sick and twisted television show put on television in the past 20 years… omg I will be SEATED for every episode.” Many of the reviews on Twitter and in articles call the show extremely uncomfortable. DUH!
When I told Phil about the show, before we watched the trailer, he asked if there would be fights on the show. Then, when we saw that the younger men were the women’s sons, I said, “OH YEAH! There will be fights! No question!”
If trashy, outrageous reality TV is your thing, this show is for you! It airs Sunday nights at 10 p.m. I wonder if TLC still stands for “The Learning Channel” because I’m not exactly sure what we’ll learn from this show. LOL!
WE'RE STILL SCREAMING AT THAT TWIST 😱
