Gastonia’s New ‘Peach Cobbler Factory’ Is A Must Visit
I must admit that when I found out a cobbler shop was open in Gastonia I was stoked! The shop opened around Thanksgiving and I just found out about it! I gotta start paying attention.
The Peach Cobbler Factory brand started in Nashville in 2013, and since franchising is now operating in 17 states. According to the Gaston Gazette, owner Sparkle Agnew opened the new store because she thinks Gaston County residents need a variety of dessert places. And she’s totally right!
The shop offers 12 different types of cobblers and 12 different kinds of banana pudding. I think I just gained five pounds thinking about all this yummyness! They also sell cookies and five types of cinnamon rolls as well as peachy tea, cold brew coffee and milk. Also on the menu are Pudd-N Shakes which look amazing!
Agnew greets every customer and says she wants to create a family friendly atmosphere. There’s definitely something for everyone at the store! When asked what Agnew would recommend to a first-time customer, she offered a few items: sweet potato pecan cobbler, red velvet banana pudding, blackberry peach cobbler, cherry swirl banana pudding. My mouth is watering thinking about a blackberry peach cobbler. And I’m definitely interested in the cherry swirl banana pudding!
The shop is located at the corner of Franklin Boulevard and Cox Road, behind Walgreens. The address is 2524 E. Franklin Blvd. and the shop is open seven days a week from noon to 10 p.m. The shop also offers catering if you have an event coming up soon.
If I take Hwy 74 home, I pass by the shop so it’s gonna be easy for me to swing on in! My only problem will be what to try first!
