The Official Seinfeld Picture Book For Kids And Adults Is Coming Soon
Phil and I are both huge fans of the 90’s show ‘Seinfeld’, although I’m a bit more obsessed than Phil as I watch it lots. And I mean lots! I recently purchased the ‘Official Seinfeld Cookbook’, which is awesome for any fan by the way. Now a new picture book is coming, and it looks adorable!
According to @seinfeldtv on Instagram, there’s an official Seinfeld picture book on the way titled, ‘Seinfeld: The Day of Nothing’. It’s a picture book for all fans of the show, young and old. The book is written by Micol Ostow. She’s holds a controversial preference for cinnamon babka. And I gotta say, I totally agree with her! Cinnamon rules!
The illustrations are by Brittany Baugus who is a children’s book illustrator from Atlanta, Georgia. And I must say, just looking at the cover of the book, I love the illustrations!
The book obviously uses plots from the TV show. According to the book synopsis that I found on Target.com ‘Jerry wants to be a comic when he grows up, George never misses a nap, Elaine has funky dance moves, and Kramer is . . . unusual. Today these pals “gotta see the baby,” but they need to find the perfect gift first. Would the baby like an astronaut pen? A chocolate babka? A tiny puffy shirt?’
The synopsis goes on to say, ‘Join the friends as they visit Joe’s Fruit Store, the soup place, the bakery–and more! But yada, yada, yada . . . things don’t go quite as planned. That doesn’t stop the kids from turning what could have been a boring day into one that’s filled with a lot of laughs.’
IF you’re a fan of the show, then the book summary makes sense to you. If you’re a big fan of the show, then this book is a must! The book comes out October 3, 2023; however, you can preorder your copy now here.
