Reese’s Animal Crackers Are Now Available
Reese’s has unveiled several new products over the last year and now they’ve released a spin on a childhood classic. Although I don’t have them often, animal crackers are still tasty to me! The childhood favorite is the perfect cookie. It’s not too sweet but makes a tasty treat. Now the folks at Reese’s have come up with something new.
According to Chew Boom, Reese’s Animal Crackers are now on store shelves. The Reese’s Dipped Animal Crackers are bite-sized animal crackers covered in peanut butter candy and then dipped in milk chocolate. If you’re a fan of the peanut butter and chocolate combo, you’ll need to snag these if you see them. They’re only available for a limited time.
I’ve had animal crackers dipped in chocolate before, and I love them! Years ago, the Girl Scouts had cookies called ‘Animal Treasures’ and they were my favorite! They were shortbread cookies that featured endangered animals on one side, and the other side was coated in milk chocolate. They were just sweet enough! After I’d open them, I’d put them in the fridge. And they were better cold! I miss those cookies!
I’m not sure I’ll enjoy the new Reese’s cookies, but I’m up for trying them. It’s odd cause as a kid, I LOVED the peanut butter/chocolate combo. My little brother and I used to take Hershey’s kisses and dip them in a jar of peanut butter. And getting Reese’s Cups for Halloween was always a huge score.
As I’ve gotten older, I don’t enjoy the combo as much anymore. I’m not sure why. I think it’s because I find them a bit too sweet now. I’ve tried the Unreal Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups and I tend to like those more now. Not as sweet.
