‘Naked & Afraid’ Contestant Gets Burned In Sensitive Area
I have never watched the Discovery Channel show ‘Naked & Afraid’. None of it seems like a good idea to me. If you’re unfamiliar with the show, the reality series puts complete strangers, a man and a woman, in some of the most extreme environments on Earth. They are left with no food, no water, no clothes, and only one survival item. They must survive in the wilderness for 21 days. ALL of that is a big hell no for me!
There are so many things that can go wrong with this premise, and one of the latest competitors found out what happens when you sleep too close to the fire. UK native and contestant Sam Mouzer was sleeping by the fire when a spark burned the end of his ‘personal area’. Yup.
According to the New York Post, Mouzer and his co-contestant Lilly Jammerbund were snoozing by the open flame. The man yelped as he felt the burn in his most sensitive of places. Both contestants are filming the show in the high desert of New Mexico.
Luckily for Mouzer, on-set medics were able to treat his burns. He reportedly kept his cool and laughed all the way through the discomfort as the health-care pros did their thing.
See, this is the kind of thing that I’d be afraid of. Of course, I’d also be afraid of what could sting and bite you as well. And me, with no food, never a good time. That said, camping to me is the Holiday Inn, so I’m not really the outdoorsy type!
Just watching the trailer below for the new season freaks me out! The new season drops Sunday and will see Mouzer and Jammerbund braving the wilderness for six weeks.
