The newest Girl Scout cookie is making big news and not because of the way it tastes. The new flavor for 2023, the Raspberry Rally, which was only sold online has sold out and is going for major cash online.

According to Today, the newest flavor is a huge hit this year. So much so that the cookie sold out online quickly. Instead of the usual $5 or $6 a box, The Raspberry Rally’s are now going for around $100 a BOX on eBay. Crazy! Some are listed for almost $200 a box!

Oddly enough, this new cookie is the one I wanted to try this year! I love the berry and chocolate combo! If you’re unfamiliar with the newest flavor, it’s a ‘sister cookie’ to the Thin Mint. It looks exactly like a Thin Mint but is raspberry flavored.

The Girl Scouts are obviously upset. A spokesperson told the folks at Today that, “While we are happy that there’s such a strong demand for our cookies year-over-year, we’re saddened that the platforms and the sellers are disregarding the core mission of the cookie program and are looking to make a profit off of the name without supporting our mission and the largest girl-led entrepreneurship program in the world.”

Hopefully no one will buy the cookies for such an outrageous price!
