Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner Settle Deal in Child Custody
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have settled a deal in their divorce case. According to gossip website TMZ, Jonas, 34, and Turner, 27, were hashing out the terms of their divorce during three days of mediation last week. A prenup was in place, so assets didn’t seem to be a big issue to the former couple. As we previously reported, child custody was the center of the drama between the parents. The Game of Thrones alum wanted their daughters Willa and Delphine to live with her in the UK, while the Jonas Brother wanted their kids to stay with him in the US.
Splitting Time With Their Kids
According to settlement documents obtained by the gossip site, “an amicable resolution on all issues between them is forthcoming.” Therefore, they are close to signing their settlement. In the meantime, they have agreed to a temporary child custody agreement. Under the terms, Willa, three, and Delphine, one, will be with Turner from October 9 through October 21. She’s allowed to travel with them to the UK during that time. On October 21, Sophie must return with the kids to the US, where Joe will then take them through November 2. The kids will then go back to Sophie until November 22. Joe gets them on that day and will presumably spend Thanksgiving with them. The kids return to their mother on December 16, where they will stay until January 7, so she gets them for Christmas and New Year’s.

As we previously reported, the former couple broke the silence on their divorce news last month. They wrote on Instagram: “After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
