Trader Joe’s Has A Thanksgiving-Flavored Treat That Stuffing Fans May Love
Thanksgiving is my favorite fat girl food eating holiday! Since I was a kid, I’ve loved stuffing. Growing up, we’d have Stove-Top Stuffing often for dinner and it was one of my favorite things. Now that I’m older, I think it’s a bit too salty. Making my own stuffing is something I enjoy doing. Usually, I use a recipe that comes from my best friend’s dad. I love it! Now Trader Joe’s has a stuffing flavored treat that I must try.
According to Mashed, Trader Joe’s new Thanksgiving Stuffing Seasoned Popcorn is a crunchy take on the traditional Thanksgiving side. The popcorn is coated with a blend of spices that screams Thanksgiving. Celery seed, thyme, parsley, black pepper and sage give the snack its stuffing flavor. Turmeric is added to give the popcorn a natural gold color.
A few years ago, Phil and I tried Aldi’s Stuffing Flavored Potato Chips and if I remember correctly, they were too salty. Since we’re all about tasting different and odd food items, we’ll have to put this on our list for November. Since I love stuffing so much, it’s a must!
Gastonia doesn’t have a Trader Joe’s, HINT, but there is one close to the station, so we’ll have to keep our eyes peeled for the popcorn. If your family and friends enjoy snacking before the Thanksgiving meal, or if you do, you may want to pick up a bag. It’s only available for a limited time while supplies last so if you see it while you’re out shopping, grab it!
More Holiday Treats On The Way
Hopefully within the next week or so, we’ll have some other treats to try for our ‘Nosh or Nasty’ videos. Goldfish has a limited-edition Grahams flavor inspired by the movie ‘Elf’. The Elf Maple Syrup Grahams are seasonal and new this year. I’ve ordered a few bags from the Goldfish website but look for them in stores soon. We should have our bags soon!
Also new this year are some holiday cookies from Pepperidge Farm. They’ve given their Chessmen cookies a makeover. The Holiday Nog Chessmen Cookies combines the buttery creamy taste of the original cookie, with the warm seasonal spices of eggnog. They look like they’ll pair well with a nice cup of coffee! They’re also heading to stores now so look for them wherever you shop. I already ordered a bag from Amazon, but they’ll cost you way less in the store!
