Boyz II Men Singing About Chili’s Will Make You Nostalgic And Hungry
When I was in my late teens and early 20’s, I worked at Chili’s in Gastonia. It was one of the first chain restaurants in our town! Folks would wait three hours for a Chili’s burger back then. Crazy! It’s been years since I’ve been to a Chili’s, but hearing their ‘Baby Back Ribs Jingle’ down by Boyz II Men is making me want to go.
According to FoodBeast, Chili’s is celebrating their iconic ‘Baby Back Ribs Jingle’ with 90’s iconic R&B crooners Boys II Men. The band can be seen in the video below, discussing the jingle, saying they won’t sing it, and then of course they do. And they put their amazingly talent spin on it.
How Did These Two Hook Up
How did Chili’s and Boyz II Men hook up? Not sure about the first meeting to chat about the guys doing the jingle, but it does make sense. The original ‘Baby Back Ribs Jingle’ came out in 1997. The bands fourth studio album, Evolution, came out that year as well. So the partnership makes sense!
Hearing the Chili’s jingle done by the band will give you chills. They still sound SO good! And I’ve never really been a rib fan, but they’re turning me into one! If you’re a fan of Chili’s and/or Boyz II Men, you can do some shopping for exclusive memorabilia here.
