You Can Snag A Stay At Santa’s Cabin For The Holidays
If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like working for Santa Claus, now is your shot to find out! Airbnb is looking for some ‘elves’ to pitch in and help out at Santa’s Official Post Office in Finland. How fun!
According to Airbnb, they’re looking to give folks a shot to stay at Santa’s cabin this holiday season. The trip is for two adults and two kids, and the stay is free to book! Only one lucky family will be able to snag the festive stay. I have a good friend that lives in Finland, and I love seeing the pictures he posts in the winter. It looks so beautiful there. Cold, but pretty!
The family that wins the trip will help out in Santa’s Post Office. You’ll be helping with the 30-thousand letters that arrive daily for Santa, and in exchange you’ll get a stay at Santa’s cabin for free. Your family will get a crash course in ‘elfing’ and partake in elf activities at the post office. But you won’t just be working! There will be lots of fun for you to experience.
All The Fun In Finland
After working hard at Santa’s Post Office and helping the Chief Elf Katia in lots of ‘elfing’ duties, you’ll be able to have some fun and relax in style. You’ll enjoy eating traditional Finnish meals, go snowmobiling, take a trip to see the Northern Lights, and try a traditional Finnish sauna.
Years ago, when I was married, my husband was a world-class powerlifter and went to a competition in Finland. He placed 2nd in the world and told me about the Finnish food he had there. Lots of berries! In addition, he said he tried reindeer. Not sure that will be on the menu since it’s Christmas and the reindeer work for Santa!
In addition to all the fun you’ll get to take part in, you’ll get to stay in Santa’s cabin! Of course, it’s decked out in tons of festive decorations! There’s even a wardrobe of elf-wear. How awesome is that?! I’d love to dress up in official elf wear!
Since the amazing trip is only going to one family, you’ll need to act quick. Booking for the stay on Airbnb is opening on December 11 at 5 a.m. The booking is on a first come, first served basis, so get up early and book your stay! The trip will be happening December 18-21.
