Chipotle Has A BOGO Deal For Hockey Fans In North Carolina
It’s a great time to be a hockey fan in North Carolina. The Carolina Hurricanes begin their Stanley Cup playoff run with a first round match-up against the New York Islanders this weekend. And our Charlotte Checkers will be hosting three games in Round 1 of the AHL’s Calder Cup playoffs April 25, 27, and 28 at Bojangles Coliseum. No matter which team you support, any hockey jersey you own is your ticket to free food at Chipotle.
Wear Your Hockey Jersey To Chipotle
Building on their multi-year partnership with the National Hockey League (NHL), Chipotle Mexican Grill is bringing back their popular “Wear Your Hockey Jersey” BOGO promotion to coincide with the start of the Stanley Cup playoffs. According to the company’s announcement, customers who come in wearing a hockey jersey are entitled to a buy-one-get-one free deal on entrees.
When can you score your free tacos, burritos, and bowls? The “Wear Your Hockey Jersey” BOGO deal begins after 3:00 p.m. local time on Monday, April 22 at participating Chipotle restaurants in the U.S. and Canada. It’s only good for in-store purchases, doesn’t include catering, mobile, online, or delivery orders, and is subject to certain limitations.
Although the NHL isn’t a sponsor of this specific offer, Chipotle is the official Mexican-themed quick service and fast-casual dining option of the league. That’s good enough for me. What would be even better is if the Carolina Hurricanes went all the way to win the Stanley Cup as they were projected to do at the start of the season.
