Seinfeld Is Getting A Lego Set
SERENITY NOW! I cannot tell you how excited I am! I am a huge fan of Seinfeld, which is obvious since my dog’s name is Kramer. A Seinfeld Lego set is happening very soon so we can all have a show about nothing in our house.
Thirty years ago, Seinfeld, the “show about nothing,” premiered and introduced comic Jerry Seinfeld and a cast of neurotic New York neighbors to America. The show impacted pop culture with sayings like “yada yada” and events like “Festivus” And now, it’s launched a toy: the Seinfeld Lego set.
LEGO just announced it will produce a 900-piece set evoking the ’90s sitcom with an accurate recreation of Jerry’s Upper West Side Manhattan apartment. It will also release 5 mini-figures: comedian Jerry Seinfeld, bespeckled best pal George Costanza, friend Elaine Benes, eccentric neighbor Cosmo Kramer and Jerry’s mailman antagonist Newman.
Last week I blogged about Lego’s 18+ Mickey and Minnie Mouse set that is being released on July 1. Lego has a number of 18+ sets: The Big Bang Theory and Friends have also had official sets released. The Seinfeld 30th Anniversary set will be released in 2021, there’s no official date yet.
My hope is that Lego will release a Frank and Estelle Costanza set, or even a Puddy or Peterman figure. I mean, there’s gotta be a Festivus pole! Come on!
I am going to be on the lookout for more info on this. I have to get it!! It looks amazing! Check out pictures…they rock…and more info here. THIS is a must have for me!
