North Carolina Fast Food Chain Bojangles Launches New… Ambulance?
Admit it you thought that sentence was going to end with a menu item right? Me too. But no, not this time. The popular fast food chain is embarking on a tour throughout the Southeast to honor heroes and raise money for Folds of Honor. Bojangles wrapped an ambulance to resemble its star-spangled bo-box and it is taking off on a three-week 50-stop tour of the Southeast. Stops include military bases, fire stations, and police stations and of course will be delivering these heroes delicious, chicken, biscuits, cajun fries, and sweet tea. The Bojangles ambulance goes by the name the Bo Heroes Mobile.
The Bo Heroes Mobile is set to make stops in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee before ending its journey back in Charlotte. And it will receive a heroes welcome at the Charlotte FC game on July 8th. Bojangles will host 200 servicemen and women at the game for Charlotte FC’s Military Hero Night.

“One of Bojangles’ core values is a deep appreciation for the service and sacrifice of our military and their families. We are proud to extend our support to military families – and now to first responders and their families – through our partnership with Folds of Honor,” said Tom Boland, Bojangles’ chief marketing officer. “Every time I see one of our eye-catching red, white, and blue boxes and bags, I will be reminded of the courage and dedication of these individuals and their families. We are honored to support those who make such signification contributions to our communities.”
Folds Of Honor
It’s time to pay Bojangles a visit and contribute to this worthy cause! Folds of Honor is an organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to families of fallen or disabled service members. They also include families of fallen or disabled first responders. Since 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded approximately 44,000 scholarships totaling nearly $200 million in all 50 states. Bojangles began partnering with the charity in 2021. And since then Bojangles has raised over $1.3 million. All in an effort to help countless veterans’ family members achieve their goals of education.
