Have You Ever Heard Of Frozen Cereal? It’s A Thing And I Gotta Try It
Cereal is one of my favorite things. As an adult, I don’t do sugared up cereals often, I mostly eat healthier cereal now. I’m not sure if this will work with the healthy stuff, but I’m all about buying some other types of cereals just to give this a try. There’s a frozen cereal hack going viral on TikTok and it may be a game changer.
According to In The Know, Kalyn Coriano, @kalyncoriano on TikTok, has over 1.8 million views so far on a video she shared about her frozen cereal. This may be different from anything you’ve ever tried. I know lots of folks like their milk really cold for cereal, and I like it too. But this isn’t a hack for the milk. The cereal actually goes in the freezer. That’s where it’s kept!
Coriano wasn’t trying to go viral with her frozen cereal, but that’s what happened. Here’s what she does: she takes the bags of cereal out of the box and stores them in her freezer. Most of us open the cereal bag and leave it in the box. Then we store it in a cabinet or on top of the fridge. Coriano stores all of her cereal bags in the freezer.
How Does The Cereal Taste
This idea is brilliant! The cereal won’t get stale, and it’ll stay crunchy in milk. Very smart! I’m one of those people that mix’s cereals. I don’t get crazy, although I almost always eat two different kinds of cereal mixed together. Some of my mixes are odd. For example, I like Grape Nuts mixed with Frosted Shredded Wheat. Or KIX mixed with Special K.
Folks on TikTok are loving Coriano’s video. Many commenters are saying they’ve never thought about putting cereal in the freezer. A few are saying they’ve thrown aways 100’s of stale cereal boxes in their lifetime and that this idea is a game changer. Agree! The people that have tried the frozen cereal say it’s amazing! I’m grocery shopping tomorrow and I’m getting cereal just to give this a try this weekend.
