Entire Neighborhood Goes ‘Barbie’ For Halloween And It’s Actually Really Cute
The movie ‘Barbie’ made a massive pink splash all over the world, and as of this month, it’s made over $1.437 billion worldwide. Although I’ve read a lot about it and heard rave reviews, I haven’t seen it yet. It’s on my list! There’s a neighborhood that’s going all-out pink for Halloween, with every house decorating with a different ‘Barbie’ theme and it’s cute!
According to Apartment Therapy, a neighborhood in Daybreak, Utah is going all Barbieland for Halloween. TikTok user @paseo_forever is sharing videos on her page of all the various ‘Barbie’ themes in her neighborhood. The houses participating all have different ‘Barbie’ decor. There’s a Barbie Dreamhouse, a Disco Barbie house, and a Pool Party Barbie house. In addition, there’s a Weird Barbie, Haunted Barbie and Mojo Dojo Casa House. There’s even a Barbie Graveyard which has a tombstone reading, ‘R.I.P The Patriarchy’. Nice!
If you’re thinking the ‘Barbie’ themes are Halloween-scary enough, don’t worry. There’s also a 12-foot skeleton with two skeletons beside it, donning their best beach wear and having a ‘beach-off’ inspired by the ultra-competitive Kens.
Can You Have Too Much Pink
When the ‘Barbie’ movie was being made, there was a shortage of pink paint. The sets for the flick needed so much of it! Not only are the folks in Utah using different themes from the ‘Barbie’ movie, each house also has vibrant pink lights outside. It definitely adds a cool, spooky pink vibe if you are driving or walking by at night.
‘Barbie’ is one of the most popular Halloween costumes this year, so I’m thinking pictures of little ‘Barbies’ walking around the pink neighborhood will be adorable! No word on if pink candy will be handed out on Halloween night. Thinking of pink candy, I immediately think pink Starbursts! I’m guessing you’ll see lots of those on this block on Halloween night.
