When I first read this headline about the most frustrated NFL Fans I just knew the Panthers had to be in the top 5. But I read the list and kept reading and kept reading and honestly, I just don’t believe it. Between Matt Rhule, who I know I’m not alone in thinking needs to go, the very questionable decisions made by new owner David Tepper, and the revolving door of mediocrity at quarterback it’s frustrating being a Panthers fan. And no make matters worse after a promising 3-0 the team went on to only winning two games the rest of the season. 2 Wins over the course of 4 months has got to make fans frustrated no matter what NFL Team they cheer for.
So if we didn’t lead the way then who did? And how did they determine this? Well the study was conducted by Pickswise. The took data from Twitter of over 1 million tweets about NFL teams. Researchers then determined how many tweets per team could be “deemed stressful, angry or disappointed”. So the bottom line is Panther fans you need to tweet about being disappointed more if you want credit for being the most frustrated fans in the NFL.
