One Person Dead After Overnight Fire In Charlotte
Firefighters in Charlotte were dispatched to a fire on the northwest side of town overnight.
When they arrived at the home, located on Northwoods Forest Drive, they found one victim inside suffering from life threatening injuries.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
Fire investigators have since determined the cause of the fire was due to food left on the stove or oven.
