We Have Good News For CMS Students About Those Missed Days During Florence
Recently, CMS students missed several days of school due to Hurricane Florence.
While students welcomed the days off, their parents worried about when their children would have to make up the missed school days.
Rumors started to swirl that the three days would be removed from their winter holiday — Which naturally was not well-received.
Now, according to tweet posted on Spectrum News, students don’t have to worry about when the make up days will be — Because the days don’t have to be made up.
The superintendent has decided to waive the days off for both students and staff.
#GoodNews @CharMeckSchools students! You don't have to make up the 3 missed days for #Florence. The superintendent waived those days for student/staff. @SpecNewsCLT
