There’s A Real-Life Christmas Town In North Carolina & It’s Free To Visit
It looks like something right out of a Hallmark Christmas movie…
The countdown to Christmas is on (kinda) and we have the spot for you and the family. It’s called Christmas Town USA and it’s right outside of Charlotte in McAdenville, NC! The town has less than 700 residents but draws in about 600,000 visitors each year for their popular Christmas festival.
Once you arrive you’ll find 500,000 lights and various decorations up and down the streets. And they have more than 350 Christmas trees surround the streets and are decorated in front of residents’ homes. You can choose to drive or walk through the downtown area where there are the most decorations, but they suggest that you park and walk to get the full experience and see all the lights up close. They even have Christmas music spreading cheer in the streets as you venture. For more info, click here!
