Full-Service Movie Theater Adding Another Location In North Charlotte And Looking To Fill 200 Positions
Prosperity Church Road, your time has come. The Studio Movie Grill chain is adding a second location at 5336 Docia Crossing Road in Prosperity Village.
The concept melds first-run movies with full-service in-theater dining. The 10-screen theater features 1,022 electric recliners and surround-sound laser projectors.
Looking for a part-time gig, SMG is also hiring for about 200 jobs across positions that include cooks, bartenders, and box-office hosts. A hiring office has been set up at the Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte North, at 9315 Statesville Road. Hours are from 10:30 a.m. until 6 p.m through Dec. 6., WSOC-9 reported.
The 52,333-square-foot theater and dining chain plans to open sometime in December with no official date.
