WATCH: Food Truck Explodes in South End Charlotte
Man, if the Union County water crisis and coronavirus wasn’t bad enough, now we have an explosion in South End.
A food truck went up in flames Saturday night (3/14) in South End, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.
A video was shared on social media platforms showing the truck exploding before being engulfed in flames. The incident happened at the 1400 block of S. Tryon Street near W. Summit Avenue. According to Police, one individual was treated for non-life threatening injuries and the damage of the explosion is estimated to be about $5,000.
