Dash’s Dishin’ With Debbie-Veggie Pizza
There’s nothing more comforting than an ooey gooey pizza. And, it doesn’t have to be loaded with salt to taste great! Just grab some Dash seasoning blends to pump up the flavor. This is truly delicious.
Ingredients:
1-2 thinly sliced roma tomatoes
1 small zucchini thinly sliced
1 T. olive oil
1 pizza crust (or Naan bread as I used)
1/2 small onion thinly sliced
1 cup sliced mushrooms
2 tsp. Dash Italian Medley Seasoning Blend
4 tsp. Dash Onion and Herb Blend
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
Directions:
In large skillet, add a tsp. olive oil. Saute mushrooms 3-4 minutes until cooked. Season with 2 tsp. Onion and Herb blend. Remove from pan and set aside. Add remaining oil to pan. Saute zucchini and onions. Add 2 tsp. Onion and Herb blend. Combine reserved mushrooms with zucchini mixture. Assemble pizza by brushing crust with olive oil. Sprinkle with 1 tsp. Italian Medley blend. Layer half of mushroom and zucchini mixture and top with half of cheese. Layer tomatoes and other half zucchini mixture. Sprinkle with another teaspoon of Italian Medley. Top with remaining cheese. Place in 450 oven for about 8 minutes. Turn to broil for last couple of minutes to brown top, but watch closely to prevent burning.
