KFC Offering Back-To-School Buckets For Teachers
Just in time for back to school, Kentucky Fried Chicken has announced their Back to School Buckets initiative. The purpose of the initiative is to celebrate the teachers heading back to the classroom for the new school year, virtually or in-person. KFC has pledged one million pieces of chicken to deliver through the end of September.
Here’s how the initiative works. Folks go to Twitter to nominate teachers for free bucket meals at KFC. Beginning Thursday, August 20, you can tweet @KFC using the hashtag #KFCback2school and #sweepstakes and a simple online registration form will be directed back to you, which you can then forward along to your teacher friends. Selected teachers will receive a $20 KFC gift card to go towards a bucket meal.
We’re back with another donation of 1 million pieces of chicken, and this time we’re supporting teachers across the country as they head back to school. Check back next week to learn how you can help KFC recognize a dedicated teacher in your life! #KFCback2school pic.twitter.com/rITkmjSiHU

What a great idea! We all know teachers, students, and parents are going to have a challenging 2020/2021 school year. Shinning the light on educators is awesome and everybody loves a bucket!
As a kid, we would have KFC once in a while. Seeing the bucket got ya all excited cause it was “special dinner”. Used to love it! It’s been years since I’ve had a good ole’ bucket of chicken. Now I’m hungry!
