Yeezy’s are the Most Popular Sneaker Brand in North Carolina

Each country has its own particular preference, with Nike booming in Belgium (amongst many others), New Balance hot in Hong Kong, and Adidas on top in Turkey. But what about the United States?
A new report from the The Sole Supplier analyzed the most popular sneaker brand and silhouette in the U.S. and every state. revealing each state’s favorite sneaker and brand as well as the state’s searching for sneakers the most.
Interestingly, Kanye West’s Yeezy brand is the most popular sneaker brand in 13 states including North Carolina, Alabama, and Hawaii. Adidas is the favorite in 8 states including Florida, Kansas, and North Dakota. My favorite Vans, are most popular in 3 states including Colorado, Montana, and Washington.
Jordan is most popular in Pennsylvania and Oklahoma while New Balance reigns supreme in Maryland and Mississippi. Californians are searching for sneakers the most with over 135,000 for Nike Air Force 1s making it the state’s all-time favorite sneaker.
Just behind are Texans with 74,000 searches for their favorite sneakers, Nike Air Max 270, and in third place in Pennsylvania with 60,500 searches for Air Jordan 1’s. Nike is the most popular brand across the states with the report revealing that a huge 22 states including Arizona, New York, and Texas favor the brand over its competitors.

It is clear to see why sneaker giants Nike are the world’s favorite sneaker brand when their Air Force 1’s are ranked the world’s most popular silhouette based on the total number of online searches in 2021. The sneaker totaled 772,990 searches across the U.S. alone with California leading those statistics with a whooping 135,000 searches and New York in second place with 60,500.

 

Shoes make or break the outfit, but luckily there are seven classic shoes that you can spice up your wardrobe with and never be out of style.
