This Louis Vuitton Bag Looks Like It Came From A Hardware Store
Admittedly, I’m not the most fashionable guy you’ll ever meet. I don’t understand a lot of fashion. I keep it simple and generally stick to solid colors, although my ability to identify colors has been called into question. Other than wearing a belt, I never accessorize. I don’t even like wearing a watch. And while I understand the practicality of carrying a “murse,” i.e. a bag for men which isn’t a briefcase or backpack, I just can’t do it.
Louis Vuitton has left folks wondering what they were thinking with their latest accessory for men. The iconic fashion brand is selling a men’s bag that resembles…well, something you’d pick up at Lowe’s. According to the Daily Mail, the company is selling what they call the LV Paint Can bag, which as the name suggests, looks like a can of paint.
Described as a “a wildly creative alternative to a conventional bag,” the accessory was first introduced at the fashion house’s Autumn/Winter collection, comes in a variety of colors, is made of coated canvas and cowhide leather, and has a metal handle to resemble the real thing. Oh, and it costs over $2,300.
A paint can. Is this supposed to make the idea of carrying a murse more palatable to manly do-it-yourselfers? As I stated three paragraphs ago, I guess I really don’t understand fashion. Then again, I do have stuff to carry. The question is, what’s the best way to do it?
